Tony is one of the great names in financial services.
Experienced banker and transformation leader; Tony Prestedge has worked at some of the largest financial institutions including as Deputy Chief Executive of Santander and before that, Deputy Chief Executive of Nationwide Building Society. He has also held a number of senior roles at Barclays.
Tony's in-depth knowledge and years of financial services sector experience provides our clients with expert counsel on everything FS, from banking to private equity.
Tony has extensive experience at the most senior level across financial services. During his time as Deputy Chief Executive at Santander from 2020 to 2022, Tony led on transformation and corporate affairs, alongside the bank's specialist business units Cater Allen Private Bank and Santander Consumer Finance.
Before Santander, Tony held the roles of Chief Operating Officer and then Deputy Chief Executive at Nationwide Building Society, overseeing strategy and sustainability and digital transformation amongst many others. Tony has also held a number of senior roles at Barclays, including as Managing Director before he left the business in 2003.
Today, Tony provides consultancy to a select group of financial services and tech organisations, including tech management consultancy Capco, proptech company PriceHubble, women's financial advice app Financielle and Open Banking services provider BankiFi. In addition, Tony is a Non-executive Director serving on the Boards of both mortgage and wealthtech company Twenty7Tec Group and fintech TotallyMoney.
