Since co-founding the agency with Martin Mosbacher 35 years ago, Matt was an inspirational leader, mentor, and friend to so many employees, clients, and partners over the years.
Prior to co-founding Lansons
Intermarket, Matt was Vice President of Marketing for COMEX, now part of CME
Group. Before joining COMEX he was a precious metals analyst for E.F. Hutton
& Co., now part of Morgan Stanley.
He began his professional career as a journalist, working in editorial positions at Business International and Chief Executive. Matt earned a journalism degree from New York University, a master’s degree in Creative Writing from Dartmouth College, and a Creative Writing Certificate from Exeter College, Oxford.
A passionate sports fan and
memorabilia collector, as well as dog lover, Matt’s contributions to the agency
and to the field of strategic communications are myriad and he will be missed
by all those who knew him. Our thoughts are with his wife, children, and
grandchildren, as well as his many friends.
