Labour Gov. One Year On

One year on, what has the Labour Government achieved and what lies ahead for business and industry?

Following a seismic general election result, the Labour Party returned to government with a mandate for change. A year on, we take stock of how that promise has materialised across key policy areas, public sentiment and the broader political landscape.

In this panel event, chaired by Lansons Team Farner Head of Public Affairs, Mitchell Cohen, we will bring together leading voices from politics, public affairs and the media to explore:

  • What Labour has delivered in its first year and where it has fallen short
  • The political and economic challenges reshaping the government’s agenda
  • Shifts in public opinion and their implications for future policymaking
  • What this means for business and engagement with government

From regulatory shifts and spending reviews to industrial strategy and stakeholder influence, this discussion will explore how organisations can navigate the realities of our current political era and prepare for what comes next.

This event is part of our broader events programme, which brings together leading voices across media, politics and business to unpack the issues shaping reputation.
