Okay

Saying goodbye to Centrepoint. And hello to The Felix Project

Each year the company votes for a Lansons charity and for the last year we have supported Centrepoint, who provide homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills to get them back into education, training and employment. With a dedicated charity committee and a team effort from all staff, Lansons really pulled together over the last year, rolling out a range of fundraising activities for a number of causes, including our core charity, Centrepoint. Sleep outs, Movember, Valentine’s Day gifts, bake-offs, internal lottery and of course our beloved Christmas Fair helped to raise some much needed funds.

We raised a whopping £15,000, for Centrepoint and would like to take this moment to thank everyone at Lansons for their efforts.

Just to give you an idea, £15,000 could pay for 30 homeless people to have accommodation at Centrepoint for a month or pay for 375 counselling sessions. The money will really make a massive difference.

We would ordinarily have a hand-over ceremony, but due to current circumstances, we have made a short film, produced by Callum from our in-house production team. We hope you enjoy the film:

We now look forward to raising money for The Felix Project, whose mission is to deliver nutritious food that cannot be sold, to charities and schools, providing healthy meals to the most vulnerable in society.

We have no doubt that the Covid-19 pandemic will bring it’s challenges when it comes to our usual fundraising initiatives – but we accept the challenge and are determined to use our creative thinking caps to ensure we do this charity justice and raise as much money as we can for this incredible cause.
