What are the new ways in which organisations can better communicate with their audiences online?

There has been an undeniable shift in the media and communications habits of the nation, with roughly 70% of UK adults now  consuming their news from online sources (Statista).

Digital media too has now taken over other traditional media to become the number one source of information. So have organisations done enough to ensure they are effectively communicating with their customers and wider audiences online?

As agencies across the sector grapple with the question of how to reach audiences in new ways online, let alone younger audiences, are influencers and platforms like TikTok the way forwards or just a kneejerk reaction?

As the industry wrestles with these questions, we'll look at what marketers and communicators can do to harness the power of online media in all its forms, and better communicate with their audiences, creating stronger engagement with their customers.
