Lansons executive chair and co-founder Tony Langham has been named an Honorary Fellow of the Market Research Society (MRS), recognising his distinguished career across research, communications and reputation management.

Tony Langham named Honorary Fellow at Market Research Society

Honorary Fellowships are awarded to eminent public and business leaders who champion the power of research, insight and data beyond the research profession.

Tony began his career at Bob Worcester’s MORI, now part of Ipsos, before co-founding Lansons in 1989 and research agency Opinium in 2007. Today, he remains actively involved with both businesses as executive chair of Lansons and chair of Opinium.

"Tony is awarded an Honorary Fellowship for a distinguished career placing customer insight at the heart of political and economic campaigning, and for founding Opinium. His work demonstrates a sustained commitment to quality, excellence and the value of talent and insight within the research profession."

The Fellowship also recognises a career spent demonstrating the value of research beyond the research industry itself. Whether advising businesses, governments or organisations navigating complex issues, Tony has long championed the role of evidence and insight in building stronger reputations, shaping better decisions and earning public trust.

Those principles continue to underpin the way we work at Lansons today.

Tony is one of 16 Honorary Fellows announced as part of the MRS’s 80th anniversary celebrations. He joins a distinguished group including BBC broadcaster Ros Atkins; Justin Basini, CEO and co-founder of ClearScore; and Kelly Beaver MBE, Chief Executive of Ipsos UK and Ireland.
