This weekend, a team of 16 Lansons colleagues will take on an extraordinary challenge: the Ultra Peak Challenge in the Peak District, all to raise money for our Charity of the Year, Asthma + Lung UK.

Setting out across the southern Peaks, the team will be taking on our toughest challenge yet with a demanding route through the hills of the Peak District, testing their endurance as they take on steep climbs and descents through rugged terrain.

Most will be taking on a 25km challenge, while one team member is pushing even further with an incredible 100km distance.

Why we're doing this

Since our inception, Lansons has donated 1% of its profits to charity every year. Each year, we support a new charity chosen by our colleagues, committing that 1% of profits alongside a calendar of fundraising activities that bring the whole business together.

This year, we’re proud to support Asthma + Lung UK, the nation’s lung health charity. Lung conditions affect 1 in 5 people in the UK and remain the third biggest killer. Asthma + Lung UK is working to change that through improving care, campaigning for cleaner air, funding life-changing research, and supporting those living with lung disease.

Our fundraising efforts

Through our dedicated charity committee and collective effort, we’ve already delivered a range of fundraising initiatives, from Lansons Lotto and bake-offs to sweepstakes, with more to come later this year. This isn’t our first challenge, after taking on Snowdon last year, we’re back and ready to go even further for a cause that impacts millions across the UK.

We’re incredibly proud of everyone taking part and hugely grateful to those who have donated so far. Every step and every donation help fund vital research, improve care, and support people living with lung conditions across the UK.
