Today, Tony retains an active consultancy role across key clients, focusing on “special situations” work with organisations facing complex issues. He is a leading specialist in the British offshore world and has advised a number of countries on their global reputation. In the corporate arena, he advises on M&A, crises and litigation and has advised many Governmental and arms length bodies.
In his 30 years as CEO he helped build Lansons into a multi–award-winning, gender equal, diverse, carbon-neutral, employee-owned great place to work. Tony is one of only eleven people inducted into PR Week UK ’s Hall of Fame and has been named by Debrett’s as one of the 500 most influential people in the UK. He wrote Reputation Management: The Future of Corporate Communications and Public Relations (Emerald Publishing 2018) and is an Honorary Professor in the Business School at the University of Birmingham. His active non-executive career includes roles in horse racing, financial technology and market research.
